Meet Dr. Meehyeong Jo

Dr. Meehyeong Jo graduated from Dong-Eui University College of Korean Medicine in Busan, Republic of Korea with a KMD and Ph.D. in Korean Medicine. She spent 9 years as the Chief Practitioner at Jung-Dam Korean Oriental Medicine Clinic in Busan before spending the past 14 years as the Chief Practitioner at Nature Acupuncture in New York and in Pennsylvania. A licensed acupuncturist in the States of New York and Pennsylvania, Dr. Jo has treated thousands of patients for various ailments such as arthritis, seasonal allergies, sports injuries, chronic pain disorders, neurological disorders, and immune disorders.

Dr. Jo is currently the Vice President of American Association of Korean Medicine (AAKM) and is a Diplomat in Acupuncture and Herbs for the the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is a member of Somun Oriental Medical Society in Korea and was formerly a professor in the Department of Herb Science at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology. Dr. Jo frequently goes on medical mission trips around the world, from Peru to Mauritania.
